Hold A Water-Themed Party For Your Children And Their Buddies To Enjoy

Are you looking for a fun way for your children and their buddies to cool down while spending time outdoors? A water-themed party can be held for any occasion and will take everyone's mind off of the heat for a while.

Rent A Water Slide And Prepare Some Games

If you are friendly with the parents of some of the neighborhood children who play with your kids, share the water party idea with them and ask them if they would like to help you plan the outdoor gathering. Some of the parents may be willing to chip in on the cost to of some unique water games or renting a water slide from a company like Affordable Inflatable Party Rental.

The water slide can be considered the main attraction, and homemade games can be set up around the slide to provide the children with some additional ways to have fun while staying cool. A water balloon toss, water-filled pinata, or water balloon darts are some examples of some games that you and the other parents may choose for the fun-filled day.

While planning the gathering, decide upon a date for the gathering and a locaton for the party. Obviously, since the idea was initially your's, you will probably want to hold the party in your yard. If another parent, however, has a larger yard and offers it to be used for the party, consider doing so if you think that the spot will be more favorable than your yard.

Assign A Chaperone To Each Station

Meet with the other parents right before the party is about to begin so that you and they can set up the water slide and game stations. The water slide needs to be erected on a grassy surface that is within close proximity to a water and electrical source.

Set up the game stations around the water slide, but be sure to leave enough space between the stations so that the children can run around and play each game without getting in the way of anyone who is participating in the water slide activity. Assign a chaperone to each station so that the children remain supervised throughout the party.

To make the event fair to everyone who attends, designate an amount of time for the children to use each station. Once the time has elapsed, blow a whistle to alert everyone to stop what they are doing and get ready to switch to another activity.
